SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Read before sending Anything!
What we want--we're looking for concise, intelligent speculative fiction here, not hard SF or fantasy stories about trolls and unicorns. Think Philip K. Dick, not Tolkien or Card. We're all about right of self-expression; having said that, please refrain from excessive profanity or violence. Other places are into that; here, not so much. A little goes a long ways.
Formatting--not super picky, will reformat anyhow...
Word count--under 8,000 words.
Payment for publication--we don't have a budget at the moment, and want to publish as much great fiction as possible. With that in mind, please understand we don't currently offer payment for publication, but plan to in the future.
Please include:
Name, Phone Number, Address, and Email address, as well as a brief bio (written as you would like it be appear) and very brief (one or two line) blurb about your story (also as you would like it to appear to introduce your story).
Send all text within the body of an email; we will not open attachments. Email to: submit@catesbury.com
And, of course, we strongly urge you to read some of the other fiction posted to get an idea of what we're after...AND to read some great fiction!!

Here's a sample of the contract, should your submission be selected for publication here. If it isn't selected, please don't take it personally! We have limited space and very limited staff (who all have real jobs, too)!
Thanks!
